Wah-Tut-Ca 75th Anniversary Hike
This year is the 75th anniversary of Camp Wah-Tut-Ca. Scouts from each district will hike from a local camp in the district to Northwood to commemorate the anniversary. The hike is roughly 60 miles and and takes three days (6/19/12-6/22/12) The hike is meant to be very meaningful, helping to symbolize how we all came together and remember all of our camps. Each unit can send up to three hikers for this three day journey . We hope to have a representative from every unit. There are also opportunities for Order of the Arrow members in your unit to help lead the hike or help set up campsites for the hikers. For more information contact Brendan Duffy at bd75@comcast.net.

2013 National Jamboree Participants Wanted (Scouts and Leaders)
The Yankee Clipper Council is sending 3 Troops and a Venture Patrol to the National Jamboree at the Summit in West Virginia July 15-24, 2013. We are looking for Scouts who will be 12 years old and First Class by July 15, 2013. Youth fees are approximately $1500. We are also looking for adult leaders to fill out the 3 troops to help provide a great experience for the youth. The 2010 Jamboree was an incredible experience and the 2013 Jamboree looks to be even better as we open a new era at the Summit Reserve, BSA's permanent Jamboree/High Adventure site. For more information, please contact Kevin Nichols (knichols@bsamail.org) or Ron Fuller (lakeside11@comcast.net). General information for the Jamboree can be found at: https://summit.scouting.org/en/Jamboree2013/Pages/default.aspx.
