Troop 30 Scouts,

Here is a list of personal gear and clothing you should bring to this years klondike outing.

On Friday, you need to check the weather to see if there is any weather changes you should know about and dress accordingly.

Essential Personal Gear:
  • Scout Handbook
  • Pocket knife
  • Water Bottle
  • First-Aid Kit
  • Mess Kit & Eating Utensils (Knife/Fork/Spoon)
  • Insulated Cup
  • Compass
  • Pen or Pencil
  • Trail Food and Snacks
  • Matches and Fire Starter
  • Extra Clothing
Essential Clothing:
  • Long Sleeve Shirt
  • Long Pants
  • Hiking Boots or Sturdy Shoes
  • Warm Parka or Jacket with Hood
  • Warm Socks ( Wool or Synthetic) (NO COTTON !!)
  • Mittens or Gloves
  • Warm Hat
